As of 16 October 2026, Runway's pricing page shows Standard at $15/month or $12/month yearly for 625 credits, Pro at $35 or $28 for 2,250 credits, and Max at $95 or $76 for 9,500 credits. Gen-4.5 is 12 credits per second (also listed as 60 credits per 5 seconds). Gen-4 Image at 1080p is 8 credits per image, and text to speech is 1 credit per 50 characters. A consumer overage price per extra credit was not published.

Read before you budget
- Monthly and yearly dollar amounts are both taken from runway.com/pricing. The lower number is 20% under the higher number on every paid plan, which matches the page's yearly discount control.
- Gen-4 Turbo video is listed in the rate table and left out of estimates because the help center and the pricing page do not agree.
- Extra purchased credits and Max-plan rollover are not added on top of the monthly allowance.

How many credits is a second of Runway Gen-4.5?
Runway states that Gen-4.5 uses 12 credits per second, and the pricing table also lists 60 credits per 5 seconds. A 10-second Gen-4.5 clip is 120 credits at that rate.
Can I buy extra Runway credits, and for how much?
Paid plans can buy extra credits. The minimum purchase listed on the pricing page is 1,000 credits. A consumer dollar price per credit was not published there, so this calculator does not invent an overage rate. Runway's separate developer portal prices API credits differently and is not applied to these consumer plans.
